Dr. Elpida Prasopoulou holds a PhD in Information Systems from the Department of Management Science and Technology of the Athens University of Economics & Business (2009), a MBA jointly awarded by the National Technical University of Athens and Athens University of Economics and Business (2001) and a BSc (Hons) in Public Administration from the Panteion University of Political and Social Sciences (1999). She worked in many research projects on eGovernment, Identity Management and Inter-organizational networks. She has also worked as an external collaborator to the General Secretariat of Research and Development (eBusiness Forum) and N.C.S.R. Demokritos. She has published in academic journals and peer reviewed conferences in information systems (e.g., European Journal of Information Systems, Management Science, IFIP 8.2, Bled eConference, Ethicomp, Mediterranean Conference on Information Systems). Her research focuses on ICT innovation in late-development countries, eGovernment and the interplay of ICTs with a state’s administrative tradition.
