Nikolaos Tsipouras has worked as a research officer in the ELTRUN research unit at the Athens University of Economics and Business. He holds a first degree in Business Administration (AUEB, Greece). His research focuses on strategic and social issues in information systems, concerning the SMEs (Small and Medium enterprises) and their efforts, problems and solutions on their way of getting into Internet and on-line sales. He has participated as a project manager or research assistant in a number of European or national projects concerning the SMEs. He has also worked as a Market researcher and analyst for a management consultant firm and fulfilled a number of market research projects. Furthermore he has worked as an Instructor for a Center of Professional Instruction teaching computing, image processing and web design.
